Things you should know about the ceremony:

  Both the ceremony and recption/luau will be very casual and we suggest you dress likewise (i.e. shorts, hawaiian shirts and flip-flops, coconut bras are optional).

  Very few chairs will be provided. It is recomended you bring blankets to sit on during the ceremony and the picnic-style lunch to follow. Another good idea is to bring folding lawn chairs.

  As far as seating goes, there is no "bride side" or "groom side." Feel free to sit wherever you want to get the best view of the bridge.

*The Lei Exchange

The lei exchange is something fun Tim and Ady want to do. They will exchange leis with each other, give leis to their parents and give leis to all of you, the guests.

In Hawaii, the Lei has been a traditional gift exchanged between the bride and groom. Just as the lei gives freely of its beauty, so do Tim and Ady freely offer their love and acceptance to each other.

Marriage is a coming together of two lives, and a celebration of the loving bond between two people, but it is so much more. The love that Tim and Ady feel for one another is the flowering of a seed God planted in their hearts years ago. As they embrace one another in their love, so do they embrace the families that have been brought together on this happy occasion. Tim and Ady will present leis as symbols of love to their parents.

May all the Leis offered and accepted on this day embrace your thoughts, your senses and your hearts. These Leis are a promise that no matter how far apart we are from one another, you are not forgotten and a reminder that you are always in the hearts and prayers of Tim and Ady.
